Many people find comfort in making a gift in lieu of flowers, in recognition of the medical care and attention provided to someone who has recently passed away.

KOALA Foundation is a grateful recipient of these gifts using them to support the paediatric oncology services at Melbourne's Children's Cancer Centres at Royal Children's Hospital, Monash Medical Centre and Peter MacCallum Cancer Institute.

KOALA Foundation has an in-memoriam donation envelope which can be given to families and their chosen funeral director on request.

These envelopes are then distributed at the funeral service to those interested in supporting the family's wishes.

Money collected at the funeral is then forwarded to the KOALA Foundation by either the family or the funeral company within days of the service.

Money is also received via the post from those who have collected an envelope at the funeral service and made a subsequent donation.
