Description of project:
The Family Information Book is given to each family upon diagnosis.
The purpose of the book is to provide families with much of the information they seek upon diagnosis and serves as an important reference guide throughout treatment. The Family Information Book has recently been updated, with the new edition giving comprehensive information and a guide to each of the regional hospital shared care partners. Regional families will now receive a supplemental insert applicable to their regional centre.
In 2010, information sheets for all medications were also included in the Information book.
